The popular adage that ‘no man is an island’ is nonetheless
correct and factual. We are surrounded by people from the day we are born and
the last stage where we say good bye. In the case of Tarzan, wherein he grew up
in the jungle is not applicable to this topic that is exclusively for fictional
stories. During my younger years, I grew up in suburbs in the heart of
Philippines where kids are normally playing outside the streets without worries.
This is the stage where I start to socialize in a manner that I don’t have any
idea of what is that mean. I started to have few childhood friends (Mostly
boys) and eventually due to my innate behavior of being approachable it grew to
a stage wherein I couldn’t divide my time to them. Let’s make it fast forward
now – then it comes college years. I started to have group of friend in which we
share a common grounds --- the course we take. Tertiary for me is pretty awesome;
I consider this the stage of changes which means we are on the boundary of shifting
to be the new younger adults. Let me share some few behavioral types of my
friends:
#1 THE SINGER
Friends who like singing and have the innate qualities of great voice.
Usually they are very active in singing contest in college or intramurals –
those activities which connected to opening the mouth and sharing melodic
phrases which amuses the ears. I suck at song trends, I barely knew the Music
top hits but due to them I was able to catch up with the top hits on billboard.
Awesome!
#2 PARTY ENTHUSIAST
It self-explainable, these types of friends are modernly in a comfortable
life. They like parties, clubs, drinking session. They usually initiate the “let’s
have a party at home, dad & mom will be having a vacation”.
#3 OUTSPOKEN
This is the leader types. Friends of this behavior are part of the
organization inside the University. You will often see them being elected and
or making a campaign on what they believe should be implemented.
#4 THE BULLY
This is part of the system. This is not a negative factor if you have a
strong psychological stature—just a note we are all Psychology students and it’s
pretty normal. Most of my friends are like this but we never take it serious.
This is our own way to make everything funny yet positive atmosphere.
#5 THE PSYCHOSEXUAL
Yes I have that friend who manages to transcribe every aspect of resources
into horrible yet hilarious psychosexual interpretations. It’s completely
madness.
#6 THE VETERAN SHARK
When it comes to exams you should always count on him. This Friend is
expert in the coding and eye contact. This person knew the movement of the
facilitator and when to attack. The best place to sit at and is equip to pencils,
eraser etc which would help him to executive his move.
#7 THE ARTISTE
A friend that loves fashion. Even we have a common uniform issued by the University;
he/she can manage to add up extra clothing and accessories. Dyed hair, colored
nails & Heels are her armor.
#8 The BLABBERMOUTH
A
friend who knows every little secret of yours, this where we get a lot of news
if we would wish to find out what’s going on with one of our colleague.
There this the list of my friend I've encountered but I don’t
have any bad things for them. It may sound negative to you but this some of the
behavior which everyone has been infected during college. This behavior is the
reasons why college is amazing and memorable. You could define it as insane but
it would never be the same if those people are stereotype.
