HOW TO WIN YOUR DREAM INTERVIEW?

Are applying for work and you have limited time to do so? Don’t worry I have extensive knowledge to share to you to get that dream job of yours.

Most of the Human Resource Interviewers has specific factor or what we usually say a ‘check list’ for a candidate to be considered in a vacancy. Regardless of what position you are applying for you must imbibe the following skill set and behavior upon taking that scheduled interview you have committed to attend.

1.       WEAR A CORPORATE or SMART CASUAL GET-UP

This is very important if you are applying for top management post. You need to look smart and presentable even you aren't speaking yet. The impression of the interviewer will be highly appreciable and will take you as a good candidate.  Dressing properly on the interview would give 30% chance of being accepted.

2.       COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Communication is a medium to express ourselves. Imagine yourself applying for Customer Service Representative which most of your clients are foreigners then the only language you recognize is your native language back to you home country –this would be disaster. You need to practice speaking in a language known by many and that is International English. The communication skills vary in the aspects of Work Descriptions. There are Jobs which doesn’t require extensive knowledge of English like House Keeping, IT Skills, Graphics Designer but it will always be a plus factor. Having able to express oneself is enough to be considered on his/her dream job.

3.       RELATED EXPERIENCE

Related Experience is essential but is not always required. For the entry level position they don’t require much experience but at least should have knowledge on the field or acquired acceptable studies on the position you are applying for. For the Senior and Management position you previous work experience are important because the interviewer will determine your expertise which you have acquired from the previous company.

4.       BE ENERGETIC

You should possess positive aura when you enter that conference door. Give them the natural smile when you’re happy ass if you have chosen for the job. Having a blissful physique could also motivate and influence the interview which can be defined as positive outlook.

5.       EYE CONTACT

This is very basic but you should give your full attention to the person you are talking to. This is a sign of respect and gives you the benefit that you are really interested to have the job. For a tip: Just provide the usual eye contact you present when you are watching your favorite TV.

6.       MAKE A RESEARCH ON THE COMPANY YOU ARE APPLYING FOR

Consider your interview as a battle of war. Having knowledge on your opponents is a key advancement of your cavalry. You should check the websites or news about the company you are venturing off –Services, core values, people, and customers. You are applying to their company meaning you should be knowledgeable to know what they do and on what purpose.

Upon mastering these 6 mantras I have shared to you. You will acquire the best chance of being a winner. Don’t forget to arrive 15 minutes earlier on the scheduled appointment. Moreover, have a decent sleep of at least 8 hours because most of the interviews are scheduled early.
