There is this colleague of mine back in highschool which I oftenly seen making statuses on Facebook. She recently joined a networking company and since then she would usually post stories from rags to riches doing the networking business.
This kind of company are booming back in home country. Most people I know are dreaming to be an instant millionaire by doing the scheme. This networking is of coarse is not free, just like real business they need some starting capital which for a typical pinoy is a big money.
The promise that this capital will return back to you and will completely change your life is the hope that most newly joiners are taking a bite. This is a big risk. Don't worry you wouldn't feel you have made a bad choice (on this first stage o scheme) as you will receive some products which if you have successfully sold out will return all your money back. In my experience before I was been invited by a so called business venture which turned out to be a car show. They are wide awake at night persuading people why you must not decline their offer. They will do everything to get to your head and say YES! They are pretty much well trained and manipulative.
Most people are blind sided on the reality of this business. They have their own level of achievement per classess or team. The more you recruit the more you earn money. The more people under your name, the more cash will direct to your bank account. The reality is the one who created the whole business is maybe outside the country enjoying his champagne and sleeping like a baby. You can think that even he is sleeping he is still earning a lot of cash because of your hard work. You are their money maker machine.
I remember the statement of Dan Kennedy:
"You are just a cog in someone's wheel."
Yes, you can probably earn money on this but this will NOT provide you a sudden pivotal change for you to be financialy free.
The real truth on the way to being rich is to create an idea and solve problem. Ideas are limitless, this is where the money comes from. You just need to create an idea that will solve problem which people are willing to pay in exhange of that idea. The bigger problem you solve the bigger you would get in return.
Do not throw your hardwork and aspiration into a wrong investment. If you have that great idea, take a risk on that and sell it in the market. Most succesful people solve problems in the oppossite way. Dream to be an "outliers" someday.
