I
am actually about to sleep now, one more wink and would almost get me snoring
but then I heard a pop out message from my mom via FB messenger. Actually, I
was in conversation with her the whole day but was being cut in the middle of
every chat due to the poor internet connection back there. She is currently
checked in at St. Luke's in Quezon City. I must say that we have been their customers
since the start of pregnancy till birth of my two nephews, they’re about to be
3 years old now. At the moment, my niece who was less than 2 weeks old has been
confined due to infection. Of course as a loving relative and second mom
overseas my thoughts of technology has its own way to reach them. The cheaper
would be Facebook and Skype but it was almost impossible because the hospital
that they are currently in was too slow to get my response.
The said hospital
is not a secret that its services are calibrated and world class. However,
their turtle WIFI sucks, this feeling wouldn't come arise when the expensive
bill is being justified by the complete amenities that they offer. Almost all
kinds of treatment that we experience are being consulted to them and so far
the way they provide their care was always been a satisfaction to us. I
understand that this is a hospital not a computer cafe and your most concern
was to treat patients but you cater people whom loves to be connected online. I
am actually giving you a hint on how you can maintain esteem and if this small
concern could be upgraded I would be staying at your canteen than on Starbucks or any other places.
My intention to be connected to them in times of sickness
was a great way to make them feel my love coming pass through my messages. Honestly,
it’s hard that you’re not at their presence to assist and give them a hand but
at least St. Luke's could take a look at this gap of communication.
Hopefully,
this message would reach the intended recipient. This is not to criticize or
brag but to elevate the services that could still be improve.
