To Alberto Lina of Bureau of Customs

Okay. So there was this news that broke out yesterday about the Bureau of Customs sudden inspection for the balikbayan boxes, lets drag the name of Alberto Lina who is behind of all of this and was previously quiet during the issues on the garbage of Canada being thrown to us. So, as I was saying BOR are making a way to provide additional taxes on the contents of those poor balikbayan boxes. Well, this is a direct slap to OFW's including me who have been working hard for the sake of family. 

It took us at least three months to filled up those boxes for the pasalubong that we intend to share with our families.

We are already being charge up for every remittane we send which has been a major factor of our economy's growth. This new movement of the Government is an assault to all ofw heroes. 

How dare you do this kind of step against us wherein we just only want to help our poor families back home with those balikbayan boxes.

To the Bureau of Customs & Alberto Lina

Today, I was angered by the news being discussed by one of my colleagues. It has something to do with Bureau of Customs (BOR) most specifically the Balikbayan Box that Overseas Filipino Worker's (OFW). The BOR headed by the recent appointed Alberto Lina who on his own has issues of corruption prior to his owned businesses which has a direct benefits on the in and out of the customs. I don't understand why the President have appointed a secretary whose credibility are stinking underneath the outer layer of his so called cleanliness and transparency.

Okay, as the news broke out. There was a random inspection being made by the BOR on the freight & forwarders warehouses. On the video, theyre opening each boxes and discussing about the proposed added taxes on the items that they have seen inside. 

They further claim that the government is loosing millions of revenue due to this untaxed balik bayan boxes which the OFW's have eagerly saved using their sweats and hardships. 

They say they it is being abused by the OFW. How come it is being abused? There is a few to every boxes that we are sending. I believe keeping those boxes non taxable is a small token of gift from the government in exchange of being a slave working in another foreighn land. 

OFW provide remittance on a monthly basis, they are being charge for a fee and also upon receipt in the Philippines which charge another Php100 pesos. Isn't that enough assistance straight from our salaries? We are fighting the emotional home sickness being abroad for the sake of our families and this balikbayan boxes has been a facet for ofw to provide assistance directly to each of our famile and now the head of BOR are taking that away and putting us a great burden of additional taxes?

For the BOR, have you ever resolved the issue for the Garbage from Canada that you have taken with open arms? Those are more than 10 BIG CONTAINERS  of other countries garbage. It is now decomposing on our land in Tarlac. Why didn't you made any effort to return that back? You've let it entered in our ports  and reprimand when its too late. Why kind of leadership is that?

How about those smuggled sugar from China? Smuggled Cars and for god sake smuggled fake rice, have already entered in our local market. You have a lot of unresolved issues on your own backyard yet you are targetting us OFW to squeeze out for some more taxes? Wow. 

You have the guts to say that if ever after opening the boxes and something had been missing we can report it to your office. Really? Its hard to believe those sugar coated words because we could smell the strong corruption going on in the customs. 

Sometimes we ask, what else could the government could provide that we could be proud of, atleast somehow have mercy. We're carrying lots of burden already and by taking those balikbayan boxes which we hardly couldn't filled up and taking us one to three months to filled in.

If I where to run for Presidency why you should vote me?

I am on my early twenties but was glad enought that I've gotten the realization necessary to the President that everyone will want.

I came from a poor family who have made its way to where it is now. Its a long process of hardwork, patience, dicipline and perseverance but the focus where consistent to achieve what we all want. 

I could say if you want something to happen, start in your mind first and unconsiously your body will follow. Opportunities are actually abundant but not all knows how to see it. Most of the time it is hiding on the not so appealing situation. You just need to unravel its mystery unfortunately some never pay attention to the first step of digging treasures. 

At this time of the night, even I am abroad. I never let myself be out informed on the current events on the most hospitable country according so far to myself. Well, most of the news aren't appealing but mostly appalling. Why? As I remember during the candidacy of those on the fliers, tv's, radios, who has been exagerated to brag the capabilities they could do once the seat has been given to them seem out of voice now adays. Our system are still in chaos, I could see the citizens (including me) that public service has been consistenly unsatisfactory. The Government make us feel that their just doing a favor for us.

We have been awed by their false propagandas. They took advantage on our weaknesses. They think that we will be forever ignorant but today era ignorance is now a choice.

We deserve better. We have been working hard to secure food on our tables but how can we strive to shed our strength when most of our earnings would fall to taxes. In return of that taxes, the government will give us disruption of water, increased fees for electric bills, immovable traffic, crimes, slow justice system, poor public services, sub-standard infrastrature, corruption, poor project for education, low salaries for our manpower. We recently have taken new services, a dump side for other countries. We can't even fight for our own lands. Our dignity from other countries are on the lowest ranking. They ask for more qualificiations and documentation for our identity but some has the power to show off their nationality and would automatically receive all the perks that their country have put it.

Why does it has to be this way for us my countrymen? Most of the richmen in our country are naturalize Filipino's and the rest share the remaining asset that the rich have obtain. OFW go out the country because the goventment failed to provide opportunities for them.

They always say that people always blame the government. Who should we blame? The leader must help its people achieve its full potential and the people will reciprocate what the govenment has done for them. 

How many promises have they already shattered?

"Leaders cannot repeatedly break trust with people and continue to influence them. It just doesn't happen."

We felt the struggle everyday. We go to work and there's a crime, we ride the bus and it colorum. We take that MRT and its broken. We drive home and there a jammed accident due to improper road lanes. We seek justice but it take years to get the results. We buy groceries but end up getting less due to taxes. We go to public places but it is not well maintained.

Those who have been massacred in Maguindanao, they just let us forget it but we dont. Injustices never die in our heart.

What about the recent donations of other countries? Have we felt it? Of course we dont. They're so queit about it.

The government has all the resources. They have the power to do what they want if they want it to happen. Excuses aren't acceptable as we value the result of immediate action. Blaming would also not help.

I challenge the President and everyone  who are in power. Let us uplift our dignity. Let us make use of our intelligence and life for the betterment of everyone. Its us who will benefit from all of this. 

They might laught at me and say you don't know what I am talking about. I know it. I have felt it. I am sharing the burden of everyone each day to keep our govenment together. We wake up early, travel to work, work hard, and at the have the priviledge to earn money. We share every cents to the government. Make us feel the hardwork that we do everyday. Keep us touched by the services you have for us. Never forget us.

The day you have pledged to be our leader, you have already accepted to give us your life. You have stood before us to be our representative. You are no longer a single person nor a family person but more than that. Lead us upfront and not crawl up from behind.

This is for you who read this. Wherever you are. We share the same burden.

What I learned from TRMD?

Recently the three months running show on GMA Network, The Rich Man's Daughter has just ended. Even the show has commence to its ending, its fandom has astoundingly emerged and came strong on the internet.

It's a story of a rich heiress Jade who came from a prominent rich family unexpectedly fell in love with the same gender, Althea. 

From that point, I will leave it to you to research and track the rest of the story. Because the main reason why I am writing this are to dissect the deep issues on this kind of topics.

Its not a secret and its known that certain people aren't open to acknowledge this kind of beautiful human beings (LGBT) exist. Although, we could see them everywhere, narrow minded species persist to disregard the fact that love knows no gender.

They condemn this type of people as if they're contagious. While some think that they're easily be cured like sickness. Prominent Celebrities, Artist, speakers and all in different facet of industries have proven that LGBT have contiously create waves to share progress with humanity.

As much as possible, I dont want to call them LGBT because they're similar to us seeking to be loved.

@DalaiLama: We all want to be happy and avoid suffering, and we all have a right to be happy. That’s why I say we are all the same.

 Its not necessary to label them and keep them in a box like a thing ready to be sold out in the store. It just so happen that they found love with similar gender. I abundantly say that I respect & love all kinds of people and it doesn't mean that when you watch certain show's like The Rich Man's Daughter or My Husband's Lover its understood to say your gender are similarly bent. Its one way of appreciating and acknowledging that the kind of love Jade & Althea has are something that people could cherish. That it happens, that it exist, that its not something to be ignored. 

I have stopped explaining why I watch what I watch. Because I dont give importance to what outlook other people have for me but the outlook I only allow to give myself. And that is what I know is the most significant advise I could share from myself to you. Never be ashame of how you would like your actions to be nor the way you would want to express yourself. I recommend that you continously read informative books that will keep your confidence in a paramount stature. Keep that love burning.

And in the future, when I have my own children. I will nurture them that love can be like Althea & Jade, it could also be like me & their dad. I will support them and keep them educated that all kinds of affection exist and that if one day it happens that they found real one from a similar gender as they are, I will be happy to look at them seeing their happiness being mirrored back to the person they have chosen to loved.

How does being PLMayers re-framed my character to who I am now?

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

It was founded back in 1965 of June 19th and a day ago, PLMayers celebrated its 50th founding anniversary.

I am glad that I was part of it and had experience the school system. They really make the best out of you and squeeze your most resourceful stature. You would understand the responsibility of studying and the reason why all its students must burn their eyebrows to get a high grades. Although, Its a four years journey which I enjoyed, certain courses has even five to six years path of commitment and I'll tell its not an easy road-- nothing has ever comes easy that last. Similarly with other facets of life, you'll encounter road blocks and different types of professors which of course has unique ways of nurturing your bag of curiosity.

You'll see them with books and xerox copies of chapters to be reviewed like it was there daily bible of guidance.

I would say, I will not be similar today if I didn't enter this University. There is a great part of me and everyone which PLM has shared. Its the knowledge of phenomenon and the upfront trust that at the end of the day you'll be an excellent person not just with a degree but with armor of facing the real world. Its a gift to be part of it. You will not be the same person as you have come out.

Cherish each day. 

Do not complicate what is not complicated

Why do people like complicated things? Its like youre crossing the street and you know on your left that there is a big bus that goes towards your lane and you disregarded the signal which you can relate to people giving you advise to stop but you persist to cross because you don't want to admit their correct. 

So the bus hit your leg and as a result your limb bone broke done. Although, its amazing that youre still alive. Remember this is a fictional representation of people persisting to go to complicated situation. Sometimes, its best to stay in your place and be alone than to join a bandwagon of chaos. Using our brain in circumstances that we could forsee the outcome of certain things has always resulted to saving our ass.

If at this moment, you are confused. There are emotional needs that you would want to get and you thought a specific person can give you that but this person has already strings on his back for someone else. Would you jump in the same crater to satisfy your need that you would know wouldn't sustain you for long? Please do not enter into complicated things that will held your time, energy, happiness and your whole life.

There is always a back door where you can create everything. Invent your own story rather than interject yourself into a pile of on going problem. Remember, our lives are borrowed. Time is not unlimited, dont waste it a phase where it will not contribute to your positive growth. 

Be creative and resourceful. If today, what you thought you needed is not in front of you. Look for it and make your own story book. Its free.

Lazy Love

A funny stupid act. I've read a message on a HS group, this person was asking the group to text his GF & say Iloveu. Dude, don't ask someone to do push ups for you, you should do it if you want to gain the results. Loves comes a bit lazy nowadays.

This message was suppose to be posted on twitter. It's hard when you can't squeeze in an argument into 140 letters. Its like you need to remove all the proper grammars and apostrophe to get into the limited words, making yourself a dumb stupid writer. Why do we let that do to ourselves just to fit in? Realization guys.
