A few months back, I got a message from my childhood friend about him going abroad which it happens to be the same country where I was; Dubai.
He is really excited to migrate and start to work which is normal for first timers. I've seen constant post of him telling his excitement and happiness to be in a different country. I guess this is a normal disposition of human being, we are happy to celebrate events which would be a stepping stone into our dreams.
His visa is a tourist for a month, it means that he has a 30 days to look for a job. This is an old system of people travelling here. The country is open to all its visitors. The first 2 weeks was really hard, although his feeling is on the rush with positive vibes to get a stable job and great offer. The problem is there are too many fish on the sea willing to squeeze inside a can. The competition is undeniably the hardest, you need to have the basic skills which are acceptable communication and the angst to give growth to the company or else go back to your home country. A little harsh it might sound but its reality.
Most people wasn't able to make the requirements, they are unlucky to get job on the given short duration of time. Now, where do they go? They take the courage to stay in an isolated island like Qeshm and Kish, waiting for another month to get their second chance (an issued visa).
This is the cycle of opportunities here, make it good and then you will get the job. Remember, if you are planning to go abroad for greener pasture. Do your very best to grab on to something you can hold on into. You need to be smart not usually by books but how you deal with people.
By the way, that childhood friend of mine my was able to get a job. He is now working in an hotel with a reputed company. I guess it pays to be hard-working and persistent. I told him that if you want sometimes you will continuously do whatever it takes to get that opportunity.
